YUNJI won the “Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Invention Award”
On October 21, 2019, the list of winners of the 9th “Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award” was officially announced, and YUNJI won the “Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Invention Award” for its autonomous collaboration and optimized decision-making technology of service robots and its industrialization application.
As a company focusing on commercial robotics applications and technology development, YUNJI focuses on the commercialization of intelligent robots. After years of accumulation of rich technical experience in indoor positioning and navigation, robot mobility, big data, a variety of YUNJI delivery service robots RUN, GOGO, UP have realized the results of transformation and industrialization.
Winning Project Information
This award-winning project is based on the core research and development of the technical department in recent years, the service robot autonomous collaboration and optimization decision-making technology and industrialization application project.
The project adopts system design thinking in the technical route, innovatively constructs a general framework for autonomous coordination and intelligent scheduling of service robots, breaks through the difficulties of semantic map cognition, cross-floor operation, multi-sensor information fusion and indoor collaborative differential localization accuracy evaluation system, establishes a multi-robot path planning and scheduling method based on the “cloud-terminal”, and realizes the intelligent collaboration of multi-robots under specific environment and improves the service experience effect.
This honor is the result of not forgetting the original intention and mission in scientific research, technology application and industrialization development over the years. In the future, YUNJI will continue to work hard and make more achievements and contributions to artificial intelligence research and the progress of intelligent science.

The following is a brief introduction to the Wu Wenjun Award for Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology:
Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award is named after Mr. Wu Wenjun (May 12, 1919 – May 7, 2017), an outstanding scientist, master mathematician, artificial intelligence pioneer, pioneer and leader of China’s intelligent science research who is renowned at home and abroad, winner of the first National Highest Science and Technology Prize, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and honorary chairman of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence. Named by the National Science and Technology Award Office, sponsored by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, with the qualification of nominating and recommending the National Science and Technology Award, it is known as “China’s Highest Prize for Intelligent Science and Technology”, representing the highest honor in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Since 2012, Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award has attracted more than 700 top institutions and enterprises from Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tencent, Baidu, and so on to participate in the competition.
